7-Layer Dip

I recently realized I’ve never made a layer dip, even though I’m somewhat borderline obsessed with them. I had to resolve that immediately! I got this recipe from a coworker (though I adapted it a bit) and it’s super easy and delicious. And the little bit that was left actually last pretty well for a few days, too. I’ll definitely be making this again!

7-Layer Dip

1 can refried black beans
1 large avocado
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 large chopped tomato
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 cups shredded jack cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions

Spread beans into serving dish, spread avocado over beans. Stir taco seasoning with sour cream, and then spread over first two layers. Layer cheese, then top with tomato, pepper, and green onions. Serve with tortilla chips.

  1. OMG! Looks so good. I must make this immediately!

    • Be warned: I literally stood at the counter with chips and just dug in. Haha, it’s addicting! 🙂
