Cooking Class Date Night

We recently had a fun date night and decided to sign up for a cooking class at a local school, Great News. We often have trouble making specific types of sauces (maybe it’s impatience ‘cause we’re so darn hungry?) so I signed us up for a grilling and sauces class (because grilling is always fun). We had a great time and learned loads! It was a demonstration class and not hands-on, but the teacher did a fantastic job and we have been able to put our new tips and tricks to the test already (with great results!).

We also got to try some of each dish made, and fell in love with every single one. You can bet we’ll be testing out these recipes at home very soon! I’ll share as we go!

On the menu the night of our class:

Pork Tenderloin Glazed With Ancho-Cherry Sauce

Orange-Marinated Grilled Salmon With Green Mustard Sauce

Garlic and Rosemary Grilled Chicken on Creamy Grits With Pancetta-Mushroom Sauce

Filet Mignon With Artichoke Bearnaise Sauce

Banana’s Foster Bread Pudding With Butterscotch Sauce and Ice Cream

What, can’t you see it? Or did I get a little too excited and eat it all before I took the photo? Nah, that couldn’t be it. 😉
