Salted Butterscotch Blondies

Loved this recipe! I’m a huge blondie fan and I love to experiment with different recipes and try out new add-ins. The sea salt topping on this gives the blondies such a unique taste. I made these for a potluck and they were so yummy!

Salted Butterscotch Blondies

Recipe courtesy One Ordinary Day

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Sprinkling sea salt for blondie tops
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup favorite add-ins: chopped Heath bars, white chocolate chunks, peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, etc. (I used 1 cup toffee bits, 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped walnuts)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a 9×9? baking pan.

Into a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and 1/2 tsp. kosher salt.

In another bowl, beat together brown sugar and melted butter.  Add egg and vanilla.  Stir in the flour mixture, along with add-ins.  Pour batter into pan.  Sprinkle top with sea salt, to taste.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.  Cool completely.
